Claire joined Portman back in 2020, however her background is not within dentistry. She has a BA Hons in Fashion and Textiles: Print. However, she fell into dentistry back in 2016 where Claire worked in a general dental practice.
Before long she was sucked into being part of a team to help improve patient’s teeth and enjoyed the satisfaction of people having the ability to smile again after hiding it for a long time. Claire then moved to a sedation clinic for a further challenge to help people with severe phobias. The real satisfaction of helping people was not yet achieved so she then moved to the Portman family to help kids and adults with orthodontics. This was an easy step as Claire can relate to what they are going through as she has also had orthodontic treatments in the past.
