Sophie Beard

Orthodontic Therapist (works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays)

Sophie qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2008 from the Yorkshire Orthodontic Therapy Course after receiving a City and Guilds Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2007. She was previously a qualified Dental Nurse for 12 years, in which time she completed certificates in Dental Radiography, Oral Health Education and Orthodontic Nursing.

Registered with the GDC and a member of the Orthodontic Nurses and Therapist National Group, Sophie was an examiner for the Orthodontic Therapy Examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Continued Professional development is important to Sophie and she attends courses with the British Orthodontic Society and other teaching bodies regularly. In her spare time Sophie also enjoys helping others achieve their goals in mentoring, spending time with her family and cooking.
