Dental nursing has been a huge part of my working life. Leaving school to work as a trainee dental nurse for a family run practice for many years. I knew this was a career I wanted to continue in and went on to gain further Qualifications for this role. I am now working in the Orthodontic field of dentistry. I gained my radiography certificate in 2016 which helps me greatly in my current job role. I enjoy being involved in the patient journey of teeth straightening and watching their improved smiles. I consider myself to be a kind and caring people person who enjoys meeting patients and making them feel at ease. Spending time with my family, enjoying nature and photography is incredibly special to me when I am not in work mode.

In 2015, Nick enrolled in the postgraduate course of Special Care Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL) which he obtained with distinction. Having a great interest in Orthodontics, in 2016 he attended the International Short Term Course in Orthodontics at Aarhus University, Denmark and the following year he was offered one of the two highly competitive positions in the three-year specialty program. He completed his specialty training in 2020 at Aarhus University obtaining also a Master’s degree in Orthodontics.

Nick enjoys research and is an active member of the European Orthodontic Society attending all yearly meetings. He is currently serving as a President of the European Post-graduate Student Orthodontic Society (EPSOS) 2020 and 2021 and served as Vice-president in 2019. He practices Orthodontics only, providing all treatment options to his young or adult patients, including aesthetic appliances like clear aligners and lingual fixed appliances. He is an Invisalign and Incognito certified provider.

Nick enjoys his job and loves helping his patients achieve the best possible outcome through their treatment. He loves reading and is a sports enthusiast, avid runner and a level 1 RPT tennis coach.

My love of all things teeth began because my father had a cleft palate and I use to accompany him for his dental appointments at a London Hospital.

I have worked in dentistry for forty years, this includes experience in General dentistry, the Emergency dental service and over twenty years in Orthodontics.

I have had braces myself and jaw surgery so am more than happy to answer any questions or concerns.

In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, gardening and going to the Boot fairs.

Neil prides himself in offering an extremely high standard of orthodontic treatment in a relaxed and friendly environment. He offers a wide range of contemporary orthodontic appliances and has a particular interest in managing complex cases with Invisalign® aligners. He ensures every patient’s treatment is tailored to their individual needs and expectations.

Neil undertook his orthodontic specialist training at Guy’s Hospital in London and the Children’s Hospital in Brighton. He qualified with a Master of Science in Orthodontics from King’s College London, for which he was awarded a distinction and the Philip Walther prize for obtaining the highest mark. During this time he was also awarded a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society and the British Dental Association.
